The CTYZ screw press dewatering machine is a continuous, low-speed screw press dewatering machine built for industrial and agricultural applications. A variable-pitch screw rotates inside a wedge-wire screen basket, progressively compressing material and separating liquid from solids with high efficiency and minimal power consumption.
This screw press machine handles a wide range of organic materials including food waste, extract residue, medicine residue, paper pulp, vegetable waste, tea residue, fruit extraction, fiber materials, brewery waste, cow manure, and coffee grounds. Screw shaft, screen basket, and guard are 304 stainless steel; machine frame is carbon steel. Motors can be configured for any voltage and frequency.

A screw press machine operates at lower speed, consumes less power, and requires less maintenance than a centrifuge. Compared to a belt filter press, it uses no filter fabric (no replacement cost), is more enclosed (less odour), and handles fibrous materials better. The screw press delivers higher compression force and better dewatering rates, with fewer restrictions on material consistency. For organic waste and agricultural applications, the screw press dewatering machine is almost always more cost-effective.
Yes. The CTYZ screw press machine is fed by screw conveyor, chain plate conveyor, or belt conveyor. As long as material supply is continuous, the machine runs automatically without manual intervention.
Our standard screen aperture is 0.75 mm - this is our recommended default for most materials. A 1.0 mm screen gives higher dewatering rates but more solids in the filtrate. A 0.5 mm screen produces cleaner filtrate but slightly lower dewatering efficiency. We adjust aperture based on fibre length and material characteristics, confirmed by test results.
All machines carry a 12-month warranty from the date of shipment, covering manufacturing defects. Wear parts (screw shaft, screen, bearings, seals) are not covered under warranty. Users should regularly replace gearbox oil and grease bearings during operation.
